MANAGING DIRECTOR, groIQ
Dr. Williams has been working professionally in the grain industry since 1992 with experience spanning the whole supply chain from pre-breeding research through to marketing and end use.
He managed the classification process and the broader crop shaping activities for AWB Limited and as an inaugural member of the first independent classification panel in 2003, helped develop the structure of today’s wheat variety classification system.
Richard holds a PhD, which examined wheat variety classification boundaries across Australia. His current role is Managing Director of groIQ which provides advice to the grains industry on research, operations, innovation and quality.
