Devika Srinivasan has 20 years of experience in wheat and flour quality testing within the domestic flour milling industry. Devika has a Master of Food Science and Nutrition from University of Mysuru, India. Most of her career has been in Australia working for MAURI one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest flour millers and bakery ingredient suppliers where she has built her knowledge and understanding of wheat quality and cereal chemistry.
Devika’s experience includes various roles within MAURI, starting from QA, laboratory quality systems, laboratory management, and her current role as Technical Manager Wheat & Flour which includes responsibility for wheat gristing and flour quality across Australia and New Zealand and management of MAURI’s wheat grade and variety testing program to ensure that Australian wheat quality continues to meet customer needs.
Devika has been part of Wheat Quality Australia’s proficiency program testing method review and changes forum since 2013. Her experience includes cereal chemistry, flour milling, knowledge of wheat & flour testing methods and wheat quality evaluation for food applications.
